Course Description

The KDS Light Vehicle course prepares students for the Qatar Traffic Police test to obtain a general Qatar Driving License (Light Vehicles). After completing the course, the trainee will be licensed to drive either a manual or automatic transmission vehicle of the category up to 3.5 tons. The KDS’ Light Vehicle Driver training package is designed to cater to the needs of today’s drivers by reducing occupational road risks and accidents.

Course Outline:

Training content is designed based on an in-depth curriculum, and is instructor monitored. The aim of the program is to train participants in various scenarios and techniques to pass the Police Test.

6.Traffic signs and markings

7.Dealing with traffic – other road users, junctions, corners, etc.

Requirements to enroll


1. Valid Qatar ID/Visa Copy

2. Eye Test Report (Eye Test can be done at KDS)

3. Color Passport Size Photos (4 pcs.)

4. Original valid home country license to apply for half course (if applicable)
